eDIF is a infrastructure designed to make AI models and interpretability tools accessible to researchers across Europe. Inspired by the NDIF initiative, eDIF provides high-performance remote access to large language models and analysis tools, enabling experimentation without the need for local high-end hardware.
Our Vision
is to make AI accessible, transparent, and trustworthy for everyone. While AI systems are becoming more powerful, they often operate as black boxes: complex models making decisions that even experts struggle to fully understand. This lack of transparency creates risks, from hidden biases to unpredictable behavior, and limits trust in the technology.
We believe that the future of AI must be open, explainable, and inclusive – and eDIF is here to make that future a reality.
